The card trick

EFFECT:
(Please
read carefully)
You BORROW any
pack of playing cards (or use your own if you like)
The spectator shuffles them as much as he/she likes. You
then remove a small bunch of
cards from the deck, say 15. You give these 15 cards to the
spectator who can
again shuffle them as much as they like before handing them
back to you.
At this point you turn your head and close your eyes (you
can even be BLINDFOLDEDif you like!) and let the spectator select ANY card
they want, remember it and return
it anywhere amongst the bunch of cards. And before you turn
back he/she shuffles
the cards again so their card is completely lost!!
At this point it seems ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE that you
could find their card!
Now for the good bit... You deal the cards randomly on the
table or floor or
whatever is close. You then lightly touch your fingers
against the spectator’s wrist
claiming to be reading their pulse. You ask them to slowly
point to each card and
to not give away any clues when they point to their card.
However, no matter how
hard they try, when they point to their card, you can feel
the psychic vibrations
and know it is their card!
This really
kills them! |
