IN YOUR POCKET: During a
routine or trick, you borrow the spectators pen - perhaps to have a
card signed. Instead of giving him his pen back you put it in your
pocket! When he objects you claim innocence - and remove his pen
from HIS pocket! His eyes will pop out of their
sockets in disbelief!
FOURTH DIMENSION: From a
borrowed deck the spectator selects a card and returns it to the
deck. Four cards are removed from the deck which are clearly shown -
none of which are the spectators card. He then chooses one of these
four cards which changes into his chosen card! This
description does not do justice to the power and impact of this
effect.
RUB-AWAY COIN VANISH:
This has to be the best impromptu complete coin vanish there is.
Period! You borrow a coin, rub it and it vanishes - simple as that!
No, it's not hidden in some strange palm and no gimmicks are used.
You are clean! The coin literally appears to dematerialise in
front of their eyes. It's also very easy to do!
TORN FATE:
Torn Fate is pure magical entertainment at it's best. People
absolutely love this one! The fate of a borrowed bank note
is placed squarely in the hands of a spectator.
This
routine has several elements which combine to make this such a
fantastic piece of magic. Firstly, it involves a
borrowed object which creates a feeling of deeper involvement in the
magic for the spectators. Secondly, there is emotion
involved. The spectator genuinely believes that his note could get
torn up! This will get the note owner strongly involved in the trick
and the rest of the audience can sense his, albeit light-hearted,
worry. Thirdly, several members of the audience are
involved in the trick. Fourthly, it’s highly
entertaining and can be quite funny depending on how you play it!
It's also super easy to do!
THE
HAUNTING:
You shuffle a deck of cards and ask
the spectator to select one – a completely free choice. The card is
noted, signed if desired and replaced into the deck which is again
shuffled. The deck is placed onto your outstretched hand and the
spectator is asked to concentrate on his card. As he concentrates,
the top half of the deck begins to move! In fact, it moves aside
completely as if the deck is cutting itself. Amazingly, the card
which lies exactly where the deck is cut is the spectators chosen
signed card! -
no threads, wires or magnets used!
