section of our site is like a hall of fame of magicians. Many of magic's
greatest magicians are listed here, past and present, along with
some brief details about them. This list is always growing so if
you have a suggestion for the magician you like to add to the

Ackerman, Allan
Great American
card magician. He has fantastic skill with cards and is also known
for his gambling demonstrations.
Adair, Ian
If you have
ever had any beginners books on magic, the chances are that at
least one of them will have been written by this great English
magic author. He also specializes in dove magic.
Ali Bongo
Ali is a very
famous and influential magician. He has created many wonderful
effects and has often acted as a consultant for magical theatrical
productions and TV shows - such as the Paul Daniels show for
example. He was born in India
Ammar, Michael
Few people who
have been into magic for a while will have not heard of this great
American magician. He is famous as a magic teacher and has also
created a large number of his own effects. He is particularly
known for his cups and balls routine and his card on ceiling
effect. To top it all he is a very nice guy indeed.
Anderson, Gene
This American
magician's name is synonymous with the torn and restorded newspaper
effect.
Anderson, Harry
USA
magician who has appeared on TV in programs such as the famous
comedy Cheers. He specializes in “con man” magic where he plays
the role of a wise guy who likes to con people using various scams.
Annemann,
Theodore
This well known
and popular magician was around in the early part of the 20th
century. His mentalism magic had a great impact on audiences who
flocked to see him in packed out theatres.
